This is a full-time remote role for a Special Education Teacher. The teacher will design and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailored lesson strategies for students with special needs. Responsibilities include fostering an inclusive learning environment, assisting students with disabilities to achieve academic and personal growth, and maintaining open communication with parents, colleagues, and support staff. Regular collaboration with other educators and adherence to all educational standards and best practices are crucial.
- Proven experience in Special Education, particularly working with students with disabilities
- Strong knowledge and skills in teaching and educating middle school students
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with parents, staff, and students effectively
- Familiarity with digital and remote teaching tools and platforms
- Relevant certifications or degrees in Special Education or related fields
- Patience, empathy, and a problem-solving mindset
- Experience with designing and implementing IEPs is a plus
