We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Montessori Teacher for our client company to create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will foster independence, curiosity, and holistic development in line with Montessori principles
Key Responsibilities
Classroom & Teaching:
- Implement Montessori-based teaching methods aligned with lesson plans and curriculum
- Create a safe, stimulating, and child-centric classroom environment
- Observe, guide, and support children’s academic, emotional, and social development
- Use age-appropriate materials and activities to encourage independent learning
Student Development:
- Assess and document children’s progress and developmental milestones
- Plan and evaluate individual and group learning activities
- Ensure student safety and supervision at all times
Parent Interaction:
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding child progress and development
- Address concerns and provide constructive feedback during parent interactions
- Encourage parent participation in school activities and meetings
School & Team Collaboration:
- Participate actively in staff meetings, training programs, and school events
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support staff
- Follow school policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma with ECCE / NTT certification; Montessori certification preferred
- Basic understanding of child development theories and Montessori philosophy
- Good communication skills in English
- Patient, caring, flexible, and child-focused attitude
- Strong classroom management and teamwork skills
- Ability to safeguard children’s well-being and interests
Experience: 0–2 Years (or as per competence)
