Key Responsibilities-
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the library’s mission, vision, and institutional objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the library, including book acquisition, budget management, and staff scheduling.
- Foster an innovation-driven environment to enhance library services, resources, and user experience.
- Lead the acquisition, organization, maintenance, and evaluation of library collections—including books, periodicals, digital resources, and multimedia materials—to meet the diverse needs and interests of users.
- Plan, coordinate, and promote educational, cultural, and recreational programs such as author interactions, workshops, reading initiatives, and book clubs.
- Ensure the effective management and maintenance of library facilities, including safety, accessibility, cleanliness, and optimal use of space for various library functions and services.
- Monitor and evaluate library programs, services, and operations through data analysis, user feedback, and performance metrics, implementing continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and impact.
- Design and implement a comprehensive Whole School Literacy and Reading Program to strengthen reading skills and literacy competencies across all student groups.
