KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum focusing on:Self-awarenessSelf-regulationSocial awarenessRelationship skillsResponsible decision-makingCreate a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and respectMonitor and assess students’ social and emotional developmentDesign and implement targeted interventions to support individual student needsCollaborate with school counselors, teachers, and administrators to implement SEL strategies across the schoolCommunicate regularly with parents and caregivers to support students’ emotional growth and address concernsPromote positive behavior and manage classroom dynamics effectivelyFacilitate conflict resolution and encourage healthy peer relationshipsMaintain accurate student records and progress documentationParticipate in school meetings, events, and SEL-related initiativesQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related fieldMaster’s Degree in a relevant field is an added advantagePrior experience in teaching, counseling, or working with children in an educational settingStrong understanding of Social Emotional Learning principles and practicesSKILLS AND COMPETENCIESExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleaguesHigh levels of patience, empathy, and emotional intelligenceStrong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needsCollaborative and proactive approach to student development
