Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a high school social studies teacher for G H Raisoni Public School based in Jalgaon. The teacher will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lessons in Social Studies, including world history, to high school students. Responsibilities include developing curricula that meet educational standards, assessing student performance, fostering critical thinking and inquiry, and creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Collaboration with colleagues, consistent communication with parents, and participation in school activities are also key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- MA, BA, B.Ed
- Expertise in social studies and world history, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively.
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning aligned to educational standards.
- Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A background in education, with a degree in education, history, social sciences, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills, a commitment to fostering student growth, and an enthusiasm for teaching diverse learners.
- Teaching certification and experience as a social studies teacher are preferred but not mandatory.
