- Early Years Class Teacher
Position/Designation: Early Years Class Teacher (student between 3-6 years)
Qualification:
- Master’s Degree
- Bachelors/Diploma in Education
- Candidates should either be qualified in Teaching certification/license relevant to Early Years education or IB Primary Year Program teachers or willing to undertake the PYP IB Teacher Training.
Experience: 5 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a play-based, child-centred curriculum that promotes exploration, discovery, and critical thinking.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the holistic growth of each child.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining regular communication and collaboration.
- Assess and document student progress through observations, formative assessments, and personalized learning plans.
- Integrate movement, creative arts, and hands-on activities into daily lessons to encourage active learning and development.
- Ensure a seamless transition for students progressing from Early Years to Primary Years, building a solid foundation for future learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s vibrant community.
Skills Required: Strong understanding of child development, play-based learning methodologies, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. Fostering the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of students between 3 to 6 years.
